The Kufstein Fortress now offers an innovative way to explore its historic significance through your smartphone, providing an immersive audiovisual journey into the past. The Audioguide Festung Kufstein application allows visitors to discover the fortress—the iconic landmark of Kufstein—guided by selected historians and experts across 21 informative stations.

Upon launching the app, users can select from a range of tour options on the main screen. By pressing "Start Tour," they initiate a multimedia expedition that complements the physical walkthrough of the fortress. The route is marked with clear signage indicating each station, which are numbered and accompanied by an audio guide icon. To access the information at each station, simply enter the corresponding number on your device or utilize the app's "Next Station" feature. An integrated overview map within the app highlights station locations, and various image galleries provide additional context and visual insights.

For optimal operation, a Wi-Fi connection to the Fortress Kufstein network is required, with access credentials provided upon purchase of an entrance ticket to the fortress.
